🔨Volunteer Code of Conduct

This is the code of conduct for volunteers to abide by.

The most important thing we want for you as a volunteer is to have fun. Secondly, volunteers are community leaders who assist, interact with, and take feedback from players. On this page, we will list a few leadership concepts to ensure you are helping players in the best way possible.

Support Ideology

You've probably heard the term, "The customer is always right." This is the staple phrase of any service establishment, and for a good reason. It's very hard to assist a player if you're arguing with them. When you're providing support to a customer, always remember to be respectful. If you find yourself or the player getting annoyed/frustrated, don't be afraid to send them to Escalations team.

If a player requests a feature or reports a bug, acquire all necessary information and submit an issue on the appropriate repository. Then you can link this issue for the player to follow.

Moderation Ideology

We don't set hard punishment guidelines for most rules since we believe you have the discretion to judge each case fairly. To keep judgements consistent, we do have a few recommendations:

  • Any cheating related offenses without any extenuating circumstances should be a permanent ban or blacklist. Extenuating circumstances include negligence, admission, and reputation.

  • Any fraud related offenses should be a blacklist

  • In flagrant cases, toxic/anti-social players may require bans or blacklists.

Volunteer Teams

Every volunteer is apart of a least one internal team (Volunteer Sub-Teams). Seniority plays a large part in decision making within teams.
